USA and North America are little bit different. With the strong supported by National Geographic Foundation, TIA (Travel Industry Association of America) defined geotourism into geographic tourism or even general ecotourism. They define geotourism as tourism that supports the geographical character of a place its environment, culture, heritage, aesthetics, and the well-being of its citizens.

If we take action (mitigation) and disaster is averted, there will be a massive reduction in human suffering, social lost, and physical destruction… If we take action and no disaster then little is lost and we benefit from cleaner environment…

If we do not act and disaster occurs, it will be a vast global tragedy… If we take no action and no disaster results, the outcome will be due to luck alone…
